The Florida Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (FSFPRS) is the official state organization representing facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons practicing in the state of Florida. Members of the Florida Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery are board certified plastic surgeons whose focus is plastic surgery of the face, head, and neck and are uniquely qualified to perform cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery. Florida Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery members subscribe to a code of ethics that guides patient care.

- The Agency for Health Care Administration has communicated through a series of letters, articles, and provider alerts that all trading partners will be deactivated for HIPAA standard 4010 X12 transactions effective January 1, 2012.
Changing to the 5010 version of the HIPAA transactions is vital for Florida Medicaid providers to be able to bill the Medicaid program appropriately for services rendered to eligible recipients. Failure to prepare for this deadline will result in delayed Medicaid payments. This change applies to any provider and vendor submitting or receiving electronic files from the Florida Medicaid program and its fiscal agent.
